Chene, In response to your comment as to how I made "Blue With Pride". Fairly simple really. I start by doing a pencil drawing and then scan it into PhotoShop. Using the pencil tool, I trace the drawing on a layer (sometimes using different colors for the line. With that done, using the magic wand, I grab certain areas of the line and then on another layer I fill in the colors. Do not fill on the line layer. Then I group the line and fill layer. I then copy the group (to preserve the original group) and combine the copied group and hide the original group. Next, now copy the new combined group so that it is over the other. Using brighten/contrast and saturation, I darken the top layer. Using the eraser, I carefully erase certain areas of the top layer using different size brushes to create light source and shadow. Also I use the dodge and burn tools. On any number of layers I add the bells and whistles such as blushes on cheeks, sparkles and shines and/or highlights etc. Then simply find or create an appropriate background. Always save your original line and fill so as to not loose them if you should have to make use of them if needed. And most important, SAVE OFTEN!!!!! Hope this answers your question. Let me know. Thank you for the fav. Hope to hear from you. Gerry
